This is a repair service for an Allison TCM (Transmission Control Module) found in Chevrolet and GMC trucks with 6.6L Duramax engines.  The T14 and A50 TCM that controls the Allison 1000 transmission has a high failure rate most commonly seen in LMM & LML Duramax trucks.  We have thorough in-house testing and can address wire bonding and other root causes of the TCM failure to ensure that it is rebuilt to withstand the high temperatures of the engine compartment.

Common symptoms include:

PPEI Custom Allison Transmission Tuning

This optional tune enhances your truck's performance with improved shift points and eliminates unnecessary slip in the torque converter. PPEI's refined shift points will help your truck shift gears at the ideal moments, providing a smoother ride. Slip in the torque converter is a common issue that causes wasted energy and sluggish acceleration. PPEI's tune eliminates unnecessary torque converter slip to ensure that more power from the engine is directly transferred to the wheels, making your drive more responsive.

DIY solutions and repair shops with inferior tools and techniques often cause more damage to these TCMs. Unfortunately, this compromises the heat sink and structural integrity of the TCM.
