2009 - 2010 Mazda 6 PCM/ECM Repair
We offer a repair service for a 2009 - 2010 Mazda 6 PCM (Power Control Module) or ECM (Engine Control Module) damaged by failed ignition coils. The PCM is also referred to as the ECU (Engine Control Unit), or simply as the engine computer.
This PCM failure is the most common problem with the Mazda 6 PCM/ECM and is indicated by one or more of the following diagnostic trouble codes: P0351, P0352, P0353, P0354 P0355, and P0356.
**If a faulty coil pack has damaged the PCM, then the coil pack must be changed at the same time as the PCM. Based on extensive experience with these computers, we strongly recommend a genuine Motorcraft coil pack. There are counterfeit coils on the market that claim to be Motorcraft, so be sure to order from an authorized Ford/Motorcraft distributor. We have several sources that we can recommend for these coils. Please contact us at 800-547-2049 for recommendations.**
