This is a repair service for a Mazda 3 Transmission Control Module (TCM) experiencing failure. Mazda TCM, also referred to as TCU, can be costly to replace. Our repair service is designed to address all known issues with the Mazda TCU by not only fixing problem areas on each circuit board but also preventatively replacing known problematic components.
Common Mazda 3 TCM Failure Symptoms
- Harsh downshifting or upshifting
- Erratic, unpredictable shifting
- Transmission shifts late or does not shift at all
- Transmission stays in 3rd gear/safe mode only
- Intermittent transmission speed sensor signal issues
- Check Engine (CEL) and Automatic Transmission (AT) warning lights come on
- DTC codes U0101, U0100 - Lost communication with TCM
- Error U0073 - Control module communication bus "A" off
